$PATH environment setting... help needed...

Hi

I installed gEDA suite from it's iso image.

All went perfectly well but it said in the end that I need to set my $PATH variable to xyz directory and some LD_LIBRARY_PATH to xyz.

How to do that... ?

At the command line,

$> PATH=xyz:$PATH

$> LD_LIBRARY_PATH=xyz:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
