I can play stored music from my roboster bluettoth device when connected between my nonbluetooth car stereo and my asus phone but ironically cant recieve or forward any calls..they cant be heard over the aux audio.why.pl advice

The bluetooth device plugs in the car usb and connects with a 2 male ended lead while on aux mode.does this device require a charging
