In US they have 110 volts power ; In India we use 220 volts power!!
So does your PC if bought in US , support 220 volts power?
If your not into gaming you can buy a 17'' LCD monitor. That reduces the strain
on your eyes; also it comsumes less power. Go for SamSung or ViewSonic.

i would suggest u ask him to get a 16:9 widescreen LCD <must be cheaper there
u know widescreen is here and HDTV is around the corner...

with all the cool looks it will be a drool machine... make is super slick by
1. get Logitech wireless rumblepad 2 insted of microsoft
2. Get G7 Optical wireless gaming mouse
3. Get G15 wired gaming keyboard
4. Insted on one 250Gb put is 2x200GB at RAID-0 config <<as with all that high end config the HDD becomes the bottleneck..keep in mind vista is coming and games like FEAR - pray - quake 4 -farcry feel much better with highspeed HDD
5. Put is a TV tuner

now top it off with everything black...

nobody in india will beat the looks of this PC

I have suggested some changes.

1-C.P.U-Intel Core 2 Duo-C2D E6400-2.13GHz

2-MOTHERBOARD-ASUS P5W-DH Deluxe WI-FI-
Consider Intel Bad Axe 975 as well

3-GRAPHICS CARD-MSI Radeon X1900XT 512MB [RTPE: RX1900XT-VT2D512E
ATi(Built By ATi) or Asus or maybe Sapphire(bad customer service), if possible try to wait to get the X1950XT or better still wait for Dx10 or even better get a 1800XT now and upgrade to a DX 10 in 6 months

4-CABINET-Antec Performance I P180B
Are you sure you want to spend so much on the cabinet? Won't a 50-75$ at max thing do?

5-POWERSUPPLY-Antec NeoPower NeoHE 550 ATX12V 550W Power Supply
Don't get Antec. Get a quality 600watts or higher from OCZ, Fortron etc.

6-C.P.U COOLER-Tuniq Tower 120
Consider Thermaltake Big Typhoon

7-RAM-G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM Unbuffered DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit System Memory
Get 4 GB ram
Consider OCZ and Corsair as well
Consider getting DDR 2 1000mhz if possible

8-KEYBOARD-Microsoft Natural 4000 B2M-00012 Black 103 Normal Keys 17 Function Keys USB Wired Ergonomics Keyboard
Not sure, can you get something higher?

9-MOUSE-Logitech G5 Laser Mouse (Corded)
Consider the raxor copper head as well

10-MONITOR-samsing syncmaster 798mb
Get the 798MB plus. Belive me the 1900XT won't be able to play games at more than 1024*768 or at most 1280*1024 even under and within 6 months down the line. A 1900XT at the moment can play games at 1280*1024 without AA and AF for most intensive games, but mostly at 1600*1200 no AA no AF or 1280*1024 AA AA but mostly at 1600*1200 with AA and AF. Anyway, 17" monitor is more than enough. Consider getting 17" TFT from Asus etc, costs around 17k or so

11-SPEAKER-Logitech X-530 Speakers
Also, consider Altec Lansing 5.1 or Klipsch 5.1(now in India)

12-DVD WRITTER-benq dw 1650 -
13-HARD DISK-Western Digital SATA3.0Gbps 250GB 7200RPM 16MB Caviar SE16-
Seagate SATA II NCQ 300GB around 4800, don't get the hdd from abroad.

14-G.P.U COOLER-ZALMAN VF900 - CU LED 80mm 2 Ball Blue LED Light VGA Cooling Fan/Heatsink
15-mouse pad-Steel Pad QCK Mouse Pad
16-gaming controller-Microsoft B4G00001 Xbox 360 Controller For pc

I suggest getting the minimum as possible from out of India as it can have great warranty and support issues.

G7 might not be as good at gaming, a person shifted from it back to mx 518, that is any way user specific.
Also G15 is not a good gaming keyboard. Don't get it.

19" is not needed and will need the graphic card to be upgraded soon unless you want it to look crap.

Any specific reason for it? I have used the G15 keyboard and can comfortably say that its excellent for gaming. It would allow you to combine certain combo keys into one single keystroke via the macrokeys.Plus the LCD screen wich would display the CPU and RAM usage,Fraps,Tempratures,Ammo status in a game etc is simply a treat.

Belive me the 1900XT won't be able to play games at more than 1024*768 or at most 1280*1024 even under and within 6 months down the line. ROTFL!! Dude how in the world do you come up with all those future predictions? Every card at some point will be futile a few years down the line. That dosen't mean we wait for a single card which would last you for lifetime. The X1900XT is comfortably crusing along with current games and dosen't look like it will back down for a year and a half.A 19" is definetly recommended as it would really push the card true capacity and deliver 1280x1024 above resolutions.Plus this is a one time installment as if this guy decides to upgrade his card in the future then why restrict the resolutions to 1280x1024? My advice would be to go in for a Viewsonic E92f+Sb 19 inch monitor which is flawless as far as clarity and performance is concerned.

Dude, whatever is your personal mental issues, keep em to your mind, dont transfer it to the keyboard.

Viewsonic LCDs are the best and monitors are on par with Samsung too :]
