PROBLEM IS YOUR REFRESH RATE AND RESOLUTION.
if u have prescribed a custom refresh rate :most cases over 60hz ::for your monitor, in your video cards settings, and the monitor will not be able to support that refresh rate in the given resolution, it simply goes into suspend mode, to avoid hardware damage.
To correct this, start in safe mode.. Press F8 while booting, and go to safe mode. correct the display settings, otherwise, remove monitor and video drivers.restart. reinstall the drivers. If still problem presists, u have to edit registry keys.
let me know if this helps.
