Ordering games and products from international websites

Hi Guys,

Me and my friends want to order games, products(both gaming and non-gaming) from international websites like Amazon.com, Aliexpress etc. I have few queries, the total cart value will be around $240, I was told by @007 that the bank charges are around Rs. 3 per dollar. Will they charge as per the $ to INR value as there is on the order day?
Now once we surpass this since this is our first international order, how will it pan out with the customs? I mean will they stop it or something. Amazon.com's customer support has cleared it that if stopped by customs then they will not be responsible for it, also if there's any issue with the product say used product sent etc. etc. then we will have to send back the product back at our own responsibility.

Please guide.

Shipping from USA ,UK to India | Shop from USA, UK & Import to India | PPO Box If yes then I will have to pay like 10k+ for shipping and customs. The weight might be more but I selected 5lb randomly.
