Sometimes when I view a thread in this forum Opera downloads lot of data. even after the page is loaded opera keeps downloading lot of data. As I have a 2 MBPS connection, by the time I realise this unusual activity I would have already lost 8-10 MB. I had 3 such instances two days ago and twice in that last one hour.

I have tried clearing the cache and also upgraded to the latest release (9.52).

Update: The additional downloads were from this site : ttzmedia.com . I checked the source of the thread which downloaded the data and found this.

-->
</script>
<script src="*www.ttzmedia.com/affiliate/ttz_ad.js" language="JavaScript"></script>
I have added the site to the blocked websites in KIS. Hope this will solve the issue.

Any other advice?

^^ That isn't a solution to his problem...!

@Charan: I haven't had any such problem till date.. Probably got to do something with the ads. Modify the urlfilter.ini and try to block the unnecessary links.

These days, you can't trust digit. They may have partnered with some company and that company may infused their content into digit's pages. May be the company is taking advantage of digit without digit knowing it?

Oh i c, ttzmedia.com is a affiliate!
