[Open] Windows 8 release preview uninstallation problem.

I installed windows 8 RP on my desktop in july 2012 from digit dvd.
but its trial period expired within a month. hence it was of no use to me.

but i dont find any option to uninstall it in the system.

Also, i have overwritten it ( Win8 RP) on windows 7. can i downgrade it to win7 now..? if not how can i remove it completely

without formatting the drive and keeping my data intact on same drive..?

Understanding downgrade rights
The above site lists out downgrade capabilities of Windows versions. Currently, only the Windows 8 pro version supports downgrades and that too, to Windows 7 pro. There is an option under windows store to upgrade your current system to pro version (in 8.1 I can confirm, not sure about 8). I'm sure there are workarounds for this but it may involve pirating your copy which I highly do not recommend.

You can also transfer your settings and documents the safer way through the in built easy transfer when shifting from 8 to 7, which will retain your settings and customization. Personally, I'd never suggest a downgrade; rather a fresh install will be your best call.
