Open Excel file in Word

:confused: .....Is it possible to open an existing Excel sheet in Word without disordering the datas...??

Well you can do it by inserting an object, which is a excel file. Go to insert>object>create from file, and let the display as icon box unchecked. Here you can view it as a table, and if you have to edit it you can double click it and excel will open to do so.

You can directly open an excel file in word as an inserted object to do so insert object & select from file & use ur excel file but to edit data in worksheet u have to open excel

^^ Actually, you can edit the data in the inserted sheet from Word itself... Double Click on the table and it will open up a Excel editor within the Word document itself...

ya u r right but only excel functionality & tools u use to edit data
