onboard graphics - help me

hey pple, help.does the onboard gfx continue to occupy ram and fsb (i know it occupies these two) after a new gfx card has been installed at pci-e slot?tried googling it,but couldnt find answer.

what r the prices if anybody knows of a 945g chipset with onboard gfx and 965g ? gigabyte, msi and asus will do.req for core2duo.plz dont tell me to install pcie card..as i will buy a dx10 later....only if bus speeds and ram is afterwards not taken up by the onboard solution.plz do tell me the cheapest 965 chipset mobo available.

and my main requirement is video encoding,movies,and light gaming(at max 1hr per day)

No it does not occupy RAM. It gets disabled totally.

cuz i'm not getting a cheap 2nd hand hand gfx card.rest i will keep the same.i had already talked to him regarding the config.but 945pl(his chipset) and 945p both dont support 800mhz ddr2 rams.so future expansion a waste.thats why looking for 956g and 965p chipsets.RE:WHAT IS THE CHEAPEST?thanx.
