Windows update and driver version in my home pc having 10 home installed.version of what?driver version can be seen in device manager,windows version can be seen in system properties.
Anyways same update has been again auto installed. Sound seems to be working as of now. Will report back after some time. Where did you read that this specific update is causing issues?
Somebody posted about large increase in backup images after this update indicating large changes caused by this update & someone posted about some crackling sound issue so I thought this update seems to be best guess for reason behind your issue.
