Out of the above I will go for Sony Full HD for its Picture quality.

For 4k TVs in Budget I can confidently say any of the VU models are good be it 4k utra, Premium Android or Cinema tv is good for the price it comes.
BTW I am just considering Picture Quality here.

Any idea how will it compare to the Mi TV 4X because that is 4K. I am not able to find the VU TV in stock anywhere. Also any idea how the sony will compare to OP 43y and MI 4A PRO as price difference of 8k is there.

By August first week all vu TVs will be back in stock as per many youtubers.
The OEM of VU TVs Hisense is entering Indian market in Amazon prime day I.e starting from 7th August. Hi sense could be similarly in price as well as in specs.

I cannot specifically say about mi tv 4x but have seen one mi tv 55 inch ips panel tv 2019 model my guess which my neighbor has & 50 inch vu premium tv 2019 edition, out of it I liked the vu most in terms of Picture quality.

Latest vu 4k ultra TVs are sold offline too with 3yrs warranty so try comparing it in stores.

Sony has good picture engine which makes stand apart from other.
This year sony has priced their new TVs quite well. Check x8000h & x7500h models offline. Sony is coming out with Amazon exclusive model x7400h which actually is x7500h but in 43 inches & 65 inches only.

Last year's LG models like um7290 or um7300 are also good buy for the price if you care less for brightness & may get it in extended warranty offer in offline markets.

Philips 50put6103 2018 model @30k is also good buy but strictly in dark room environment. Philips is bad with pricing.

Those Vu Premium/Ultra 4K TVs for 26k is a good buy indeed. It has better panel than Mi TV which is reported as being dim by many.

I have heard decent things about Kodak & Thompson ones, there's Motorola as well. If you increase budget by 7k, you will get a Samsung one (new model launched this year):
Buy Products Online at Best Price in India - All Categories | Flipkart.com

If you are in a big city which has their service centre, go for one of the smaller TV brands, otherwise increase budget & get Samsung. Those cheaper ones surely have more bells & whistles & are a better value.

I forgot to mention about Samsung.
I guess your requirement is for 43 inches so Last year's NU7470 is good option.

This year's TU 8570 is good option but costly.

If your budget is flexible and can go up to 45k then it's better to stick with LG, Samsung or Sony. Samsung nu7470 is my preference here.
43 inches Lg um7290 could be sourced around 36-37k but check out for yourself in local stores.

Service support in your locality also counts so choose wisely

Thank you, I think it's best to wait till prime day sale so I can see if I can pick anything in offer. And if the VU's come in stock. There are so many new brands offering almost same specs it is a bit confusing. For samsung and LG I can see that 4K 43 inch is 36k. I will wait till the sale and see if I can grab some offer.

Mi 49" owner. very very happy with my TV. Everybody likes its picture quality. Haven't had much opportunity to compare with other TV's, but a close relative's 4k Samsung/Sony 'feels' equivalent. Only issue is it doesn't have a simple standby option like some Sony Tvs I have seen. So it takes 45sec to start evreytime. Standby is there, but its not 1 click. Press power button for 3 seconds > navigate > turn screen off. Have got used to it now.
Mi TV which is reported as being dim by many.
nah, no such issue. The only reason for this is due to adaptive brightness feature. It makes things a little dim. But the TV is plenty plenty bright

I'm not so sure about 49" one, but 43" was said by many to have ~220 nits of brightness. It is sufficient in relatively darker room for sure. My monitor has 250nits max brightness & maybe 200nits min, & I use it at min. But TVs are usually further away & many use display at high brightness (preference). A high brightness TV will better meet needs of most people than a dim one. Usually, those with Dolby Vision certification have 300+ nits of brightness.
