Are the new power supply units in the market compatible with P3 motherboards. I have an older system with Pentium 3 (~500 MHz).

I'm using this to run linux.

Yes they are.Just don't connect the extra 4pins if it's a 20+4 pin psu.
btw your motherboard supports ATX na,or is it AT only?
