Hi guys!
My sister has bricked her Xperia Z and she's on a hunt for new phone-

1. Budget?
35000/-

2. Display type and size?
5-6"

3. Dual sim?
No

4. Preferred choice of brand?
HTC,Moto,Nexus

5. What camera option you want (flash, front facing camera)?
Everything!no compromise in picture quality!
Being an Arch student she uses her phone camera lot!

6. Preferred operating system? (Android, iOS, Windows Phone, etc).
She's inclined towards Android only!

7. Preferred connectivity options (3G, 4G ready).
All features 3G,4G

8. Primary use of handset (multimedia, camera, internet, gaming etc)?
A bit of gaming,Social Networking,Photography,Browsing,Autodesk softwares.

9. Any specific mobile phones in consideration?
Well she was in love with HTC E8 but I convinced her to wait for next Nexus due this 15th October

10. Any other info that you want to share.
Phone will be used for next 2-3 years.
I tried to convince for for next Moto but she declined!
Has very bad experience with Samsung and LG so she would avoid that!
She liked the OPO but again availability issues!

Phone should have a humungous battery life!

Any suggestions guys?
Please help!

Your choice of phone brand is Nexus, Moto and HTC.
Plus, she don't like LG.

You do know that Nexus 5 is manufactured by LG? Also, Nexus 5 and Moto series phone like Moto X is bad in camera department.

Now in terms of pure Camera quality in phones, your only option seems to be Nokia 1020. Read the review here about this conclusion: Camera shootout: Six enter, only one leaves - page 8 - GSMArena.com But if you must have to go with Android, nothing beats LG G3, thanks to its laser focus feature.

Don't expect any great thing from Nexus 6 since it is to be based on Moto X 2nd gen, especially when it comes to camera. Still it would be interesting and worthy to wait as 15th Oct is near.

Go for LG G2/G Pro 2/G3/Moto X (2014) or wait for Nexus 6

IMO as an OEM, LG>>>HTC

btw, which LG phone did she had a bad experience with?

You can also "consider" Samsung Galaxy K Zoom. Its samsung I know, but seems it's a combination of Android phone and Digital Camera. It have Optical Zoom! Which phone have Optical zoom, lol!

LG Optimus G!
Delicate phone
Due to lil pressure accidentally screen broke!
It didn't fell!

It was in her purse and she accidentally kept some weight on it!
₹7k damages!

Can you explain why LG>>HTC???
Crap UI and weak optimisation.
Only excels in hardware department!

7k is ok for it

LG's ui isn't crap
I was on stock JB 4.1.2 for a month got 2 days of battery life, ~5 hours screen on time, felt better and smoother than the stock kitkat of a friend's S4
and then switched to CM11 just for kitkat. has good dev support as well.

Sony and HTC will charge like 50-60% the price of phone for screen repairs only :|

Hi guys!

As per ur need I think buy LG G3 or nexus 6 (as saiyangoku mentioned) or wait for 64bit chip phones -_-

Cyber Genius FTW
dont get galaxy zoom its a poor handset taped to a mediocre point and shoot
get LG G2,G3,Moto X or nexus 6
nexus 5 is not worth considering because of lack of sd card and since your budget is high the G2 makes more sense than a nexus 5
since she wants a good camera why not consider windows phone, its a mature os now and has the best cameras only xperia and G3 come close
btw LG>>>>HTC,oppo,sony

^^ Are you sure Z2 won't face the issue of self cracking screen?

It is same with other company too.

not really because most sonys and htcs display is attached to some of the buttons or the bezel etc which makes it pricier because a major portion of the phone has to be changed
i had the same problem with my old Lumia 720,they were asking 6k for repairs because the digitizer and gorilla glass were part of one thing itself, there are aftermarket solutions which allow you to just change the glass or just the digitizer but they dont always work out fine

That issue exist in the phones during the first lot ie 6 to 8 weeks after launch production devices but was fixed at a later stage. The only issue that really exist is overheating during 4k recording.
