Hi Guyz,

Budget: below 10k
Brand: any good brand
144 hz screen refresh rate preferably.
Purpose: Gaming
Platform: Buy online

This is my current configuration please recommend a good PC monitor as my current monitor started showing rainbow lines.

Intel Core i5 6500
Gigabyte B150M-D3H
Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB 2400Mhz
Antec VP550P -
Zotac GTX1060 6GB amp edition -
WD Caviar Blue 1TB -
Antec GX200
LG 22MP68VQ-P 22" LED IPS - (my current monitor which shows rainbow lines more than 6 yrs old.)

Even 144Hz TN panels generally cost 12k, like LG GL600F or Acer KG241QP. I will always prefer a IPS 60Hz over TN 144Hz because TN panels are just bad. Blacks look like grey & colours are bad. Its cheap for sure & response times are usually the best, but those are not worth sacrificing image quality, unless all you do is play PvP competitive games for best rank, like CS GO or R6.

Considering your PC ain't too powerful, maybe get IPS 75Hz like this one for cheap:

For using g-sync (needs Display Port):

Or this VA panel one (has DP):

what is AMD freesync? will it work with my current setup?

Also any other screen options available for 75 hz I am willing to extend my budget a bit if it is value for money.

Watch those for freesync & gsync info (just watch first 3mins of 2nd video).

TLDR: Having your monitor refresh at same rate as your game fps makes games appear smoother. I use g-sync with my laptop & my friend has a much more powerful gaming PC with a non-freesync monitor. I could observe occasional tearing when using his PC, even though games were running at higher fps (but not hitting the full refresh rate or was more than half refresh rate).

I would recommend the Acer monitor as I personally use its 144Hz variant, cost me 14.5k, but mostly out of stock these days.
