Ola!!

Am gonna buy a new PC used for gaming with a budget. Have decided upon this config....

Mobo- Zotac Geforce 8200
RAM- 2 GB DDR2 800Mhz Trancend
HDD- 160 GB/ 250 GB Western Digital at 7200 RPM
DVD/ RW- LG Black
Graphics- Zotac 9500 GT DDR2

Questions- The mobo supports AMD processors right? can u suggest good AMD processor- Dual Core- for bout 4,000. AMD turion maybe??

Will the above MOBO support the above Graphics card?? Will there be any clashes between the Processor and card???

How much minimum power supply will i need for this system?? Will an iball cheap PSU do??

Does the Graphics card have heating problems??

Is the card good?? Can it run games to a decent extent??

You can get AMD X2 6000+ for 4150... If you push your proccy budget to 5k, you can get X3 8450+...

The mobo will support the gfx card, but I have no idea about the performance of either...

I would recommend that you go for at least Zeb Plat 500W, but preferably 500W of Cooler Master or Corsair.

You can buy 9600GT instead of 9500GT. 9600GT costs you around Rs. 6k & you'll get MUCH BETTER performance than 9500GT!!

9500GT has no heating probs.

Are you AMD?? Bcoz you can get better performance in Intel Proccy's, Of course, if your aim is gaming. You can get E7200 which is, of course, a dual-core, for around Rs. 5k, which's better than X3 8450+, in terms of Gaming only. If you are into some Video/Image Editing + Gaming, then X3 8450+ would be a good choice.

i think instead of 9500 GT u can go for 8600GT 512MB DDR3, because the prices are almost same. Also in performance wise i think 8600 gt 512 ddr3 will be better than 9500 gt(please correct me if i am wrong).

but is 9500 gt DDR2 faster than 8600 gt 512 DDR3?

No it isnt, but 9500 GT DDR2 is cheaper than 8600 GT 512 DDR3. The DDR3 versions of both cards cost almost the same. So its better to buy 9500 GT, whether u want DDR2 or DDR3

Palit 8600GT 256 DDR3 Rs 4200
Palit 8600GT 1GB DDR2 Rs 4325
Palit 9500GT 256MB DDR3 Rs 4150
Palit 9500GT 512MB DDR2 - Rs 3500
Palit 9500GT 1GB DDR2 Rs 3550

ZoTac ZT-95TEH2P-FSL 9500GT 512MB DDR2 Rs 3250
ZoTac ZT-95TES2P-FCL 9500GT 512MB DDR3 Rs 4350
ZoTac ZT-95TEK2P-FSL 9500GT 1GB DDR2 Rs 3850

^^Wrong, 9500GT is a little faster than 8600GT

@lethalweaponforever

Again, are you AMD??

well, not really, I'm nuetral..... the Nvidia 8200 supports only AMD processors, or i would have gone for the E7200.....is tht a problem.....will there be any clash between the GPU and PROCCESOR??

^^No clash. But you can buy Zotac GeForce 9300 Motherboard & Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 for about 14k [don't know exact price] which would be a great combo for gaming. The GF9300 itself can handle games at med. res. & med. settings. Have you bought the PC with your specs??? Or you are going to buy??? Your GPU is Radeon HD4850, huh?? The above mentioned MoBo & Proccy would be a great choice. Again, No clash between AMD Proccy & ATi GPU :D
