New Nvidia Chipset ???

There 's a new chipset(iive never heard of it bfore) by the name of GEFORCE MX 4000 (yes 4 thousand) doing the rounds of Mumbai's Lamington road .

It costs around 2400 bucks . Same as the MX440 series
Can any1 give me more information on this chipset ? What is the performace like ? Is it at par with the geforce4 MX series ? Will it run Doom3 etc ?

Please i need info on it . Any weblink will also help.

Klaw-24 the liink u gave says the card has direct x 9 support . Which is not even present in mx440 (i think it support only direct x 8.1)

does it mean this card is better than mx440

this card will definitely be a boon for budget conscious ppl .. i think

Mx4000 or wotever is based on the Mx440.......and the Mx440 is Dx7.0 based ....so no chance of Mx4000 (which is crap imho) being a Dx9 card.

It will support dx9, even my i740 does, but is not directx9 compliant, ie it does not have all directx9 features.

Go to *www.area3d.net/compare.php?status=0&number=2 through this u can see the speeds. PS go in for the geforce 4000 for better performance just see whose ram is more.!!!!!!!
