Hi all,

Now my system is ready. I need to get a laptop to carry around.

My budget as said title is Rs.30K-40K
Specifications looking for
Core i3/i5
1 GB dedicated gfx
4 GB RAM
15" screen preferred
A Superb keyboard to type!

Extras
Decent connectivity and peripherals option.
USB3 available is optional but not necessary
Any offers running is good

Brands Preferred and why
I have preference for HP, Dell etc. No Acer, even though cheap their quality leaves a lot to be wanting. I have multiple cases of display whitespots and keyboard problems. And a 5738G my cousin got from UAE has the stupidest kbd I've seen in my life, which doesn't correctly register keypress, the keys tilt sideways rather than going down uhh..!.

I'm ready for other options like Lenovo, MSI, Asus. but none of people I know has those so its solely on the experience of you people I can decide.

Thanks
Raman

If you want a good keyboard look at Lenovo Ideapad Z570, but you'll lose out on other features.

@ishu - I did check that thread. But felt it coming short on my requirements else I wouldn't have posted a new thread.

Also even though my budget is 30-40K I would prefer price to be on lower end of budget (already got a decent pc home. And very very light gaming on lap.)
And I will be keeping for 2-3yrs so a solid build is welcome.

What is your opinion on HP ProBook(as per hp site comes with Radeon HD 4350 only) and Dell Vostro.

Called Dell, waiting for quote for Vostro 1450/1550 with Radeon 6470M 512MB :?: told I will get a nice discount if I purchase with a business.. Waiting for detailed quote.

I had used a Toshiba C640 of my cousin for some days. flimsy build quality. all laps except his (the one I used, he & friends had same as part of some education deal) had serious probs.

Thanks
Raman
