HI CAN I NETORK 3 COMPUTER


like there are 3 computer A B C all on win 98


A_____________B____________C

NOW CAN I CONNECT ALL 3

computer B has 2 network card
A has 1
c aslo has 1


can all these be connected with each other ? if no
than can A be connected with B and B with C and C with A



2) if the above does not work than can A be connected with B and B with C NOT NECESSARY that A and C are connected



I DONT HAVE A HUBB and I dont even want to buy it cant these computer be connected with out the hub

1. install 2 NICs on "A" and one on "B" and one on "C". here "A" will act as a router and in order to keep up the network(a-b,b-c,c-a) "A" will have to be online on all time. no to mention all the complicated settings required. god help u if u want to go for a broadband later.

2. install a "hub" which costs not much and u'll require 3 NICs. the 2 computers qho wants to ommunicate can do so even when the third computer is "offline" settings are much simple. and this setup is ideal for networks connected to internet thru broadband.
