NetBIOS over TCP/IP

What is NetBIOS over TCP/IP ???How it can be enabled ??

I have tried to manually enable it from Network connection---.....---WINS

but when typing the command "ipconfig/all" It is showing "NetBIOS over TCP/IP--------Disabled"

How it can be enabled..??

Hello...shailesh I have said that I have tried enabling NetBIOS manully by that...but when checking my ip configuration through command propmt by typing in ipconfig/all.....at the end it is showing NetBIOS over TCP/IP ----Disabled...

Does that depend on the ISPs..as I am using BSNL BB..??
