Need Wi-Fi help

I am planning to set up Wi-Fi in my home Using ACT BB(10 MBPS)
I want to use One desktop,1 laptop,2-3 phones
Now my questions are
1.Is it suitable to use wifi for my desktop as i will be playing online games on it.
2.Suggest a good Router within 2k
3.(If 1. is not advised)can i use wired connection and wi-fi on the same plan

1. Wireless connections tend to increase the lag a bit, but tbh I haven't too much of a drop.

3. There's nothing wrong with using Wired & Wireless, unless your ISP's T&C mentions it's not allowed
