Need to select a Good Motherboard for Galax GTX 1660

Friends,

This Diwali I purchased GALAX GeForce® GTX 1660 (1-Click OC) 6GB GDDR5 192-bit DP/HDMI/DVI-D Graphic Card

Right now I am having following CPU configuration

1. PSU/SMPS -- iball Marathon - 500W Peak
2. RAM -- 12.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz
3. Processor -- Intel Core i5 2320 @ 3.00GHz Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology
4. Motherboard -- Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. H61M-DS2
5. Hard Disk -- 223GB KINGSTON SV300S37A240G ATA Device (SSD)
6. Hard disk B - 1863GB Seagate ST2000DX002-2DV164 ATA Device (SATA)

I checked GALAX GeForce® GTX 1660 with current Motherboard but It doesn't work with that

I have mainly video editing + rendering work

Please suggest me a good affordable motherboard below 5k
If possible please suggest me a good processor also if the current is not fit for my JOB

Your psu is poor quality,use it to run 1660 only at your own risk.
Your entire system is too outdated to fully utilize a card like 1660,in fact your system is not even enough to fully utilize 1650.

Mention your budget for processor+mobo+ram,higher the better.There is no mobo below 7k I would recommend to run a video editing/rendering system btw.

For video editing, more faster cores = higher performance. If your application uses Quick Sync, it'd speed the process up on current Intel CPUs. You current config is a bottleneck for your main usage. Correct me if I'm wrong but a gpu would not help you.

Retire/sell off the current config and assemble a new one

On a friend's advice, I bought Gigabyte b75 d3h motherboard for Rs. 3250/-
He said GPU will fit properly and everything will work without any fuss.

I request you please comment on this decision.

Your processor will become a bottleneck to the GPU you are going to buy.
Its better to go with the above config I specified.
