Need to buy a new motherbord, just motherboard !!!!

hello i want to buy a new motherboard as computer repair guy tried some experimenting and made it defective. Some of my usb ports are not working now, DVD rom is gone and i even can't boot from pendrive as it is not supported. Below is my current config and i want to buy a new motherboard without spending extra bucks on other components.

Pentium4 524 (P) HT 3.06 GHz
1 GB DDR2 Ram
160 GB SATA HDD
300 Watt Powersupply

"Intel and Gigabyte Motherboards" only
Suggest me a motherboard which supports my current config and can also support i-3 and DDR-3 Ram.

The only motherboard you may get is GA-G41M-Combo but your cpu is not on the support list though still it may work. Now the thing is spending 5k on this is not really worth the cost so better get a Intel G2020 cpu along with a H61 board. With the 2GB DDr3 memory the whole setup is going to cost you around 8k but worth every penny and is far more better than your current setup.

The only other option for you is to find out some second hand LGA775 motherboard based on intel 9xx, 3x series chipset.
