Hi Friends I have a 2007 old desktop PC which needs upgrade big time soon.
Primary purpose is casual surfing, browsing & playing following games
Age of Empires
Minekraft.

Kindly advise.

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Mainly for casual surfing, some basic softwares like Core Java for basic programming. Games like Age of Empire and Minekraft

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: Budget is between 10k to 25k. Can extend it depending on the specs needed

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows and Linus (desirable but not compulsory)

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: I already have HDD with my old PC so HDD Not needed

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: have a 21 inch monitor of Dell with 1920*1800 resolution

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Components not needed: Monitor, HDD, Keyboard, mouse

Components needed: Cabinet, PSU unit, Motherboard, RAM, Processor

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: whenever the covid 19 curfew is lifted

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: I never built , this may also be built by assembler

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans:Hyderabad, will buy locally preferably

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans:

First fill this questionnaire

Second, you should know that there are no chances of assembling any pc before 3rd May & even a few weeks after that.

CPU - Intel Pentium G5400 - 4.6k

Mobo - Asus Prime H310M-E - 4.5k

RAM - 1x8GB DDR4 2400MHz - 2.5k

GPU - None*

SSD - Kingston A400 120GB 2.5″ - 1.6k (will be C: drive for OS+apps)

HDD - Your HDD

PSU - Corsair CX450 - 3.4k

Cabinet - Corsair SPEC 01 - 2.9k

Monitor - Your one

Total - 19.5k

*Maybe find a used GPU like GTX 1050 for 4-5k, will be enough for all the light games, even new FIFA & all.

Sorry, but Linus won't descend down as an OS into your system :p

@ajayritik go with above suggested config but I think you will have to order online only as I think markets will open only later than e-commerce sites starting non-essential items delivery so keep an eye on newspapers for updates in this regard. There may be some big rush for pc parts online once delivery starts so better order fast or some parts may go out of stock.

Assuming 35k budget:

CPU - AMD Ryzen 3 3100 - 8.6k

Mobo - AsRock B450 Pro4 - 7k

RAM - 1x8GB DDR4 3200MHz - 3.5k (at least 3000MHz)

GPU - Zotac GT 1030 2GB GDDR5 - 6.4k

SSD - Kingston A400 240GB 2.5″ - 2.8k (will be C: drive for OS+apps)

HDD - Your HDD

PSU - Corsair CX450 - 3.4k

Cabinet - Corsair SPEC 01 - 2.9k

Monitor - Your one

Total - 34.6k

*Gigabyte B450 DS3H - 6.5k (if you can't find AsRock one, which is better, get this or any other B450)
Make sure mobo has the latest BIOS to support 3rd gen Ryzen. Most sellers have new stock with BIOS pre-flashed, but do confirm it.
