Need suggestions on a laptop under 56k

A friend is considering buying a new laptop under 56k. He does have a desktop but said he does want to use his laptop for all the purposes of a desktop as well.Any suggestions people? He filled out the questonnaire template at my place. it should help i guess.

1) What is your budget? (INR or USD)

INR 56,000

2) What size notebook would you prefer?
a. Netbook; 10” screen or less
b. Ultraportable; 11" - 12” screen
c. Thin and Light; 13" - 14" screen
d. Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen
e. Desktop Replacement; 17"+ screen

Mainstream,but can go for a desktop replacement as well since its not a problem.

3) Which country will you buying this notebook? Also state that if Amazon.com or Newgg.com ships to your country (Only if you know this info).

Yes. Consider games like BF3,arkham asylum/city,crysis 2 and some upcoming titles

Heard hp dv6 6121tx has some really nice specs,but not really sure about customer support of hp and also whether the screen is an 1080 p one or not. So a bit confused on that.

Bro, if you play games like Crysis 2 and look forward to play upcoming titles, I think you shouldn't list them in 'a bit of gaming'. The hp dv6 6121tx serves the purpose with a powerful GPU making it smwhat future-proof ! Best deal @56k I suppose. However, don't expect 3 Hr. backup with constant game play on it. Yes, ASS of hp is not popular, but it does have on-site warranty.
As of other options, check out the Dell XPS 15 U560262(ci7-2630, 6GB RAM, 500 GB HDD, 2 MP webcam, nVIDIA 1 GB). The GPU is inferior to dv6-6121, but it has got 2 MP Webcam, JBL speakers and better ASS(as the masses sound). Not sure, but I think that it's display is also better, as well as it's HDD is @7200 rpm. If you want 2 GB graphics, get the XPS U560266 costing 1k than the former XPS. Won't be commenting on Lenovo, Sony etc., cause not got hands-on them ! !

^ The questionnaire part was filled by my friend actually. And I don't think he'll be playing taxing games on it for more than 30 mins anyway. And the 3 hours battery backup wanted implies 3 hours under normal usage,not gaming.
In any case, he says he needs a 1080p display. Is there any upcoming hp dv6 model coming with a 1080p screen?

If you can let off the 1080p display, check asus k53sv sx521v,costs about 52,000 INR. Specs i7 2670QM, 8GB ram, 750GB HD, 2GB nVIDIA GT540M, USB 3.0, BT 3.0, Win7 HP.

^ M still in search of that lappy mate. Your suggestion is pretty good. the laptop looks awesome in the specs. Just that m not really sure about ASS of asus and also that 1080p screen is a must. The search is still ongoing. :S

Only two laptops in that budget with 1080p screen. Dell XPS 15 and the Sony Vaio CB35.
