I have AMD X2 5200+ its AM2, 2 GB DDR2 RAM and HD4850. My current mobo is not working. And i dont want to change whole system so suggest board which is compatible with above h/w. My budget is 4 - 5k.
Plz try to avoid asus, my current board was asus only. Its warranty got over and when i took it to service center(rashi peripherals) they said me, they wont repair my board even with charges.
lol..ok..look for gigabyte one..GA-MA74GM-S2H...it can support am2/am2+/am3 proccys..
(Note) If you install AMD AM3/ AM2+ CPU on AM2 motherboard, the system bus speed will downgrade from HT3.0 (5200MT/s) to HT1.0 (2000 MT/s) spec; however, the frequency of AM3/ AM2+ CPU will not be impacted.
