need some answers about flash

im a b.tech 2nd yr student of computer science branch .

i have my great interest in flash & photoshop but this doesnt show that i know vry much about all that whereas i want to learn all this ,but here comes some confusion --- my some friends say that im not going in in the field of designing whereas i've to go in the field of programming so i must concentrate on it only !!!

so anybody can tell me whether i must go on or should i leave it inspite of the fact that i want to learn photoshop,flash & also upto some level maya.im feeling myself crazy with all this that in learning these one i can give my time with all concentration but im confused whether i go on 4 my interest or not ?????
pls give me some suggetions

if u like flash and u want to kno more about it...and d other stuff too...jus go do it

u can do it in ur free time n stuff....n if u do it officialy from sumware, it does add 2 ur resume no matter how small it is.

suppose u go 4 a job n dey r decidin between u n dis uda guy. n u guys got d exact same things like totally same. but u kno flash also. wont it help ??

u like seeing movies too....do u not see them cuz u hafta concentrate on ur studies ? course not

If u want u can go for web programming either using technologies like j2ee or .net where in u can also use these extra skills like photoshop, flash etc. It will be a great combination.

i want to know how can i go 4 flash !!!
through any book or through having a course on it by any coaching class ?????? from where i can get degree also but some of my frnds say i dont need degree as im getting btech degree which is sufficient to show !!! or should i study myself from any book ????
some of my frnds tell that theres also some online clearing exams like from microsoft from where i can get degree if i pass an online exam !!!
does it true ??? if this true then is it possible 4 flash also that i learn myself with the help of a book & then clear any type of this exam??????

just go to google and type flash help or flash tutorials

open flash, go to help on top and see the tutorials there

u can learn flash easy this way.
