Need RAM upgrade advice for my Lenovo Flex 2 -14 Laptop

Hi,

I currently own a Lenovo Flex 2 -14 Laptop which came with 4GB 1600MHz RAM. I am planning to upgrade the RAM by adding another 8GB module. I am not sure if this Laptop has another empty RAM slot or not. The results are a bit confusing for me.

If there is another slot and 8GB RAM is added, will the motherboard detect that RAM as 1600 or 1300 freq?
Please link some good compatible RAM in Amazon or Flipkart for my model. Thanks in advance.

Install CPUZ and check if any slots are empty.Your screenshots are broken also if your laptop supports 1600Mhz then get a 1600Mhz RAM

Only one Slot is showing data. The rest three are just blank. Does that mean there is only one slot ?

SPD info is dependent on ram & will be shown as blank if ram module does not have SPD info.e.g.in some laptops all SPD slots are shown as blank even if there is one ram module installed.Only interesting thing is that in your case it is showing 4 slots which usually means 4 ram slots but that's not possible.It should have 2 ram slots though based on that website screenshot(which site is it btw).

You can use hwinfo for additional checking.This is from a laptop with 2 ram slots,one memory device show 0/empty info while other show same info as cpuz.

Hi WhiteStar,

I've seen it but it still says 4. On Crucial.com website, the scan report says two. But I am getting 4 in CPU Z and HWinfo. In windows CMD I am seeing 1 result. None of them are matching.

How can a laptop have space for 4 RAM slots?

Is there some problem with my laptop board? or RAM?
I am not a techie guy, so sorry about the noob questions.

Wow! thanks for pointing it out. I didn't remember asking about it when i bought this device.
So is it final that this device has four RAM Slots and I can use an 8 GB along with present 4 GB?

Also kindly help me about this suggestion given there

I suppose you would need a 4GB DD3L RAM (1.35V), 204 pin, CAS 11 Latency to match with current RAM installed. This helps to run in Dual channel config at full speed (1600MHz).
Pick your brand but matching above specs.

Where would I find those exact voltage based RAM to buy online?

Just for info I faced the same issue when I was upgrading my laptop ram. CPUZ was showing 4 slots whereas my laptop have 1 slot and 4gb ram soldered.
