1. 2nd year only service warranty for 2000/- only

Overpriced, should've come with 16 GB RAM. Don't get Dell laptops unless your company is buying them on long service contracts.

Approach consumer forum and file a chargeback with bank.

Already tried that & it helped only in getting a response from asus higher level team instead of the typical customer care toll free number people. Also, this helpline mentions that "no under legal scrutiny case can be filed". It does help though in case of things like getting refund for failed txns which otherwise take weeks for some sites to refund as per comments online.

It is costly compared to similar offer from Lenovo or maybe acer. However I strongly recommend getting ADP nowadays as companies won't help you one bit if even a minor dent/scratch happened to your laptop during delivery/usage within warranty & will refuse warranty even if the issue has nothing to do with that minor physical damage.

Consumer forum is too time consuming so need some thinking but chargeback is out because too much time has passed not to mention Indian banks usually don't consider chargeback for non-fraud expensive items buying scenarios like these.

Chargeback for fraud transaction in SBI CC didn't happen even though it was flagged within an hour. So, Indian banks are just bad. But consumer courts are usually ok, much faster than normal.

Today went to a few showrooms along with a friend...Finally, this one was more attractable...view your suggestions.,
Final Price is 53K

Inspiron 3000 is not the best built, so I'll say it is similar to HP 14 in build, both average at best. No idea if RAM is upgradeable or KB is backlit. I'll stick suggest HP 14 with R5 5500U for 48k & adding additional RAM.

Display should be ok on that Dell though.
