A:- Around 30k or less.

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?

A:- Thin and Light; 12" - 14" screen or Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen

3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?

A:- I am pursuing an animation course so I will be using Adobe Photoshop CS, Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, Maya and likewise. Otherwise, for basic use with no gaming.

5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?

A:- Intel i3/4 GB DDR3 (expandable)/min 2 GB graphics/HDD 500 GB or 1 TB.

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?

A: Any brand with a better battery backup.

6) Anything else you would like to say?

A: In a tight budget so please suggest something within 30k only.

For 26k its lot better than Intel based system main advantages are better GPU and processor is Quadcore better for multitasking and 1TB harddrive You can add 4GB RAM for better performance.
