Ryzen 5 2600: 15000
Gigabyte GA-AX370-Gaming(rev 1.x): 8000
Corsair Desktop Ram Vengeance LPX 8GB: 6500
Corsair CX550: 4100
Deepcool Tesseract SW mid tower: 4200
Seagate/WD 2TB: 4600
Samsung 860 Evo 250gb sata ssd: 5700 ( Buy Online SAMSUNG 860 EVO 2.5″ 250GB 3D NAND Internal SATA SSD MZ-76E250BW In India )

Total: 48100
This is a real good config if you can stretch your budget by 8k.Else you can drop the ssd but just know that using a ssd makes a day & night difference in overall system performance.8k for a mobo is reasonable if you want a "durable mobo" not to mention cheapest mobo for such a processor will still cost you ~5k so not much point in saving 3k when you are getting better quality as well as more features.I have suggested these components because you plan on using them for ~5 years.

P.S.All prices are in approx form taken from mdcomputers.in except for hdd(general delhi nehru place price),cabinet(amazon price) & ssd.

Is it better than Intel i5 ? Can you also list out intel based config ?

Intel core i5 8400 is 6 core 6 threads processor while Ryzen 5 2600 is 6 core 12 threads processor though performance wise both are same except in some very demanding multitasking workloads where more threads helps. The main advantage of using AMD is that it is more future upgradable as Intel releases a new socket type almost every year so if you need to change mobo after 3 years(standard mobo warranty) you won't get a quality intel mobo supporting your processor at that time.Overall price for intel i5 8400 system will be similar to this AMD system so not much saving anyway.

Just a suggestion that you can also opt for 450w PSU to save some bucks (Corsair CX450). Decent 450w PSU is more than enough to handle your future card 1060 GTX.

I think i should stick with the Intel .Gaming benchmarks on Youthoob is more favour to Intel probably coz of single threading.
Besides i don't do multi threading work anyway. All i do is Watching Movies, gaming when i get time and some Networking stuff,MS work..

AMD seems no value for money, its almost same price than Intel..

I'll skip the SSD as of now to cut the price ,will get 500gb SSD along with 1060ti or new GPU soon.(games these days are over 100GB size)
Currently have Gtx 960 2gb. I can live with that for now..
Just suggest me a Motherboard for intel chip, hopefully cheaper if available and i already have DC tesseract but their front ports are damn weak,Audio ports stop working from day 2 of purchase.

Any newer cabinet with 1 front and 1 rear 120mm fans included with case preferably LED is enough as long as the newer GPU and CPU cooler like 212 fits in it for future ....

Are you sure ?

what will be the overall PC power consumption if 1060 is added, consider its a intel based..

How Intel is more value for money? as whitestar has mentioned Ryzen is 6 cores/12 threads while Intel is 6 cores/6 threads an i5 will choke on latest games
Just look at this video and see for yourself how much CPU is being utilized

Besides, you don't know which software takes advantages of more cores and if you are getting more cores then you should get it.
Also you mentioned you are into networking so you will be running virtual machines and more threads will help here

Yes,CPU usage is very low. What about the Frame rates, Intel is more on high frames? He is running GTX 1080 so he can easily play without any problem. What if its on 1060 which i'm about to buy soon and with latest n also upcoming games might struggle to get 60fps. Who would it be the Saviour? And also price wise Ryzen is 2k more than Intel ..

I use most of the Networking work on my Laptop.. Desktop is only for basic stuff..

what is your system upgrade frequency?
Both i5 8400 and r5 2600 are good CPUs and will be good enough for gaming provided you pair it with a good GPU.

Nvidia cards are highly overpriced now because of cryptocurrency mining & nvidia will launch its new 2xxx series later this year so spending extra on 1060 is not recommended.Yes,intel processors are a bit faster than amd processors in gaming but I don't think you would see noticeable performance drop if you pair a ryzen 2600 with 1060 instead of i5 8400.Biggest factor is that 3 years from now ryzen 2600 with its 12 threads will be able to handle cpu intensive games of that time better than i5 8400 with its 6 threads & if you need to change your mobo it will be far easier with amd compared to intel at that time too.

About frame rates, you only need 60fps to play games smoothly and from above video, you can see fps are similar in most games except some

Every Current game runs on ultra(1080p) on my cousins 1060 6GB with Ryzen 1600 CPU. Remember it is easier to upgrade GPU than CPU and Intel frequently upgrade CPU sockets so if you decide to upgrade CPU later you may have to upgrade Motherboard, RAM too.

Gaming is not basic stuff they are the most resource hungry app you know

If you want future proof go with Ryzen else you can get Intel

If that's the case then I stick with Ryzen. Any cheaper motherboards available to fit in my budget as i can change mobo later right. I saw this case Cooler Master k500L.. Is it any good ?

I understand. :)

Between this Inno3D 1060 6GB is 25k.. Is the brand worth the price ?

Then you can buy Asus Prime A320M-K for 4250 from mdcomputers but call them to confirm bios is updated to support latest Ryzen 2600 else ask them to update the bios for you before shipping(they accept such requests as per reviews here). It goes without saying that don't attempt to overclock on such mobo no matter how easy the options are.

What's the budget for case?K550L is just launched so don't expect it to come to India so soon & obviously price may be higher too.Remember cabinet is for long term so you don't wanna buy a cabinet now & 3 years later regret your choice because it doesn't have enough hdd bays or space for new air/water cpu cooler etc.
