Broken In
Have an old PC with AMD Athlon II X2 250 3000 Mhz Processor, Gigabyte GA-MA74GMT-S2 mobo, 4gb of RAM and Cooler Master RS-400-PSAR-J3 400w power supply. Now i want to buy a graphics card to mainly play League of Legends with recommended requirements as:
CPU: 3GHz Processor (supporting SSE2 instruction set or higher)
RAM: 4GB RAM
HDD: 16GB Free Space
GPU: Nvidia GeForce 8800 / AMD Radeon HD 5670 or equivalent video card with dedicated memory of 512MB or higher VRAM.
OS: Windows 7, 8.1, or Windows 10
DirectX: Version 9.0C or better

I also need a new monitor for my system and also want to upgrade my RAM to 8gb.

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')

Ans: Playing League of Legends, watching movies, surfing, downloading

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 20k-25k. Can extend

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: Don't know how to

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Currently running Windows 7 as Windows 10 not supported by my current config.

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: An SSD (if my mobo supports it, kindly help me with this, link to my mobo: GA-MA74GMT-S2 (rev. 1.0) | Motherboard - GIGABYTE India)

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: Yes, 21 inch or 24 inch if possible and full HD

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Keyboard, mouse, HDD

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: Now

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: I will do it

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Chandigarh

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: Will I need a new power supply too?

Your system is very old so buying anything for it is wasting money unless absolutely necessary.

Buy Amd Quad Core Ryzen 3 3200G (YD3200C5FHBOX) at Best Price in India - mdcomputers.in --8k
Buy Online G.Skill RipjawsV F4-3200C16S-16GVK 16 GB DDR4 RAM Memory - in India --7.2k

Above is quite good system but exceeds your budget. You can compromise by getting below components but in my opinion it is better to save for some more time to build a new good system rather than buying a weak new system now.

You need a whole new PC. If you want to use it, find a used GPU, even something like GTX 750Ti will do, but better find something like GTX 1050 for under 5k as it won't be too old.

New rig:
PU - AMD Ryzen 3 3100 - 8.6k

Mobo - Asrock B450 Pro4 ATX - 7k*

RAM - 1x8GB DDR4 3000MHz - 3k

GPU - Asus RX580 4GB - 12k**

SSD - Kingston A400 120GB 2.5″ - 1.6k

HDD - WD/Seagate 1TB - 3k

PSU - Corsair CX550 - 4.5k

Cabinet - Corsair SPEC 01 - 2.9k (or use the old case, if its decent)

Monitor - LG 24MP59G 24" 1080p 75Hz Freesync - 9.5k

Total - 52.1k

Ok, so I guess I'll have to buy a new PC after saving some money for a few months. In the meantime, I want to buy the monitor. So should I go for BenQ GW2480 or LG 22MP68VQ or LG 24MP59G?
