Hmm ... quite a good system, but I was wondering about some of the choices you have made. Anyway here is my opinion :

Processor: Seems fine

RAM: Since you are overclocking, you would have to go for the Corsair Dominator or Kingston HyperX modules. I think its arnd Rs. 10k-11k for the 2GB(2x1GB) kit.
I think 2GB is more than sufficient for your overclocking thing using these kits. (costs more ... :p )

GFX Card: You have to go for the newer nVidia 8800GT OR 8800GTX /Ultra not 8800 GTS. dunno why you have fixed it to that. (do u have it already ?)

HDD: seems ok. But was wondering if you wanted to go with the 80GB/160GB WD Raptor series. Will be faster.

Monitor: With budget so little, I don't think you will get a good monitor for that price. Haven't done any research/seen any reviews on those models. so will be hard for me to tell. But don't go for the Acer 22". It Had some bad reviews. Will let u know abt them later.

MotherBoard: You got to be kidding man. Digit's November Issue has 48 Motherboard reviews done. Check it out man. Btw, my preference would be the Asus Striker Extreme. Even though its arnd Rs. 18000 or even lesser, it will be worth it since its designed for Overclockers/Enthusiasts/Gamers.

OpticalDrive: Seems fine. But could go with Lightscribe version one also.

PSU: Antec TruePower Trio 650W / Antec TruePower Quattro 800 / Corsair 600W
For more info on PSUs, check out my guide for buying a PSU here: Guide for Buying a new PSU (SMPS)

Cabinet: Cooler Master CM690(Rs.3400) / Antec Nine Hundred(Rs.7000)

Lemme know what you think.

Processor:
Intel(R) Core™2 Quad Processor Q6600 (target frequency to be overclocked => 3.0 Ghz)
good choise

RAM: [budget < 9K]
intended config - 1GBx4 or 2GBx2 Basically 4GB (800FSB) DDR2 [should support the overclock for my processor]
there is no need of 4GB...stick with 2GB
kingston , or transend are beytter choise.

GFX:
XFX GeForce 8800GTS Fatal1ty Edition (fixed) [no need to overclock this baby]
perfect

Monitor:[budget around 10k]
minimum 19'' widescreen,
should have DUAL-DVI or atleast DVI support
candidates:-
LG 19'' LCD Widescreen
or
ViewSonic 19" vg1930wm
or
Acer AL2216WBD
or
Samsung 906BW
view sonic

rest are fine

i heard the penryn version of q6600 is coming in january at the same price.......so it wud be a better overclocker, more cache, less power and of course better performance.....but only in jan

and also i think the insane amount spent on RAM and Motherboard is just goin to get u to another 5% better performance.....my bet is to save on these by goin to a P35 board and good 800 mhz ram and spend the savings on a good monitor and laser mouse, etc

and also in graphic card make sure u choose 65nm models like 8800GT...8800GTS 512 MB same name with 65nm and higher shaders is coming(dont know when).....they will lower ur power, noise, etc

Rising ApocalypsE
Also u can consider AMDs PHENOM which is already in the market "AMD 9500 Quad Core"
There's hardly anywhere the performance charts but it should a hefty competition.

Penryn are 45 nm procys which also supports 1600 Mhz FSB.
They are better than Conroe or Kentsfield which are 65 nm.

Corsair XMS2 RAM is...i believe is better than Hyper X but the only isssue is availability.
It is available at www.itwares.com for some decent cash!

Go for ASUS P5N32E SLI...its same as Striker Extreme but cheaper than striker.

Power supply : Buy Corsair HX 620 if it suits your budget....its the best in its class!

There must be some variations in the prices so choose wisely!
