Right off the assembly line
Hello all,
I'm based in BLR and have an Airtel xstream fiber connection. There are a couple rooms in my house that the wifi signal from my primary router does not reach.
I want to set up my spare router (another Airtel xstream fiber router) in wireless bridge mode to extend the wifi signal from my primary router.
Here are my specific questions:

I want to set up my spare router (another Airtel xstream fiber router) in wireless bridge mode to extend the wifi signal from my primary router.
Here are my specific questions:
- Do these Airtel xstream fiber routers support wireless bridge mode at all? I poked around their web interface, but couldn't find a relevant option. Would love to hear from someone that has done it.
- If these routers don't support wireless bridge mode, should I try installing ddWRT/openWRT on them to get them to support wireless bridging, or should I forget about it and buy a new wireless extender instead? Would also love to hear about other options.
