Need advice on buying a smartphone within 15k

Hi Guys,need advice on buying a smartphone within 15k


1. Budget? 15k (I'm in singapore. Roughly around 350 SGD)
2. Display type and size? 4 inches
3. Form Factor? bar, slider, flip? Bar
4. Preferred choice of brand? HTC,Sony,Samsung. Not sure of the quality of Huawei products
5. Preferred input method (QWERTY, touchscreen, numpad, touch-n-type). Touchscreen
6. What camera option you want? Please specify need for flash, autofocus, front facing camera. (i'm planning to buy Nikon D3200.So mobile camera is not a priority.However I need front facing camera with reasonable quality to take video calls thru Skype)
7. Preferred operating system? (Android, Symbian, iOS, Windows Phone etc). Android
8. Preferred connectivity options (3G, Wifi etc)Please specify clearly. 3G and Wifi
9. Preferred applications (Flash, Swype, GPS, etc) GPS,Skype,Flash,PDF reader(to read e-books),
10. Primary use of handset (multimedia, camera, mails, internet, gaming etc)? Internet,mails,playing videos,reading e-books and MUSIC(would prefer a handset with good bass output)
11. Any specific mobile phones in consideration? Confused! HTC One V,HTC Desire V,Sony Xperia series,Samsung Galaxy S Duos
12. Any other info that you want to share

Gear up ...
Samsung Galaxy S Duos is a good phone for its price. One V is not so great phone.....leave the reviews, my friend started hating it after buying

are you aware that One V and S Duos have exact same spec upto except S Dous packing more ram. Actually both of these are really excellent choice for someone who wants to waste 15k. Go for Huawei Ascend G600 or wait for LG L9 to be available at HomeShop 18's superdeals for 15k.

L9 is available for 334.86

I'm only worried about the sound output for LG phones...do they have good sound quality with headphones/earphones?

I'd say fair, not in the level of PMPs, but as good as most mobile phones. But I use a FiiO E6 to amp the sound, so I don't feel any issues.

Ok...I've gone thru this forum and L9 seems to be best bet in this price range. I'll go for it...thanks guys for the suggestions :)

Forget ipod, I gave it as a reference, ipod audio quality isn't good, cowon players, sansa etc have very good audio outputs, there's another one(forgot name) that comes with a hardware amp inbuilt, pristinenote used to sell it once.

oh really??if LG l9 matches in Sound o/p with sony i have no hesitation in buying it...i guess only camera is a (-) in lg l9...

Do not compare L9 with SL, but if your budget is 22k or lower, i.e cannot spare 24k for SL, get L9 eyes closed.

well im not comparing..just to make sure i get the best mobile :D and my budget is nowhere near 22k..it is just 15k :(....what abt sony p
