Need advice - Battery replacement for Laptop

I have Sony Vaio VPCYB15AG laptop > 3 years old, now archived model.
It's time for battery replacement. Original battery is VGP-BPS21B 10.8V 3500mAh.

I am not able to find it so easily. No clear availability online and service center has quoted quite high price and does not look like they would offer any warranty on that as well, so looks like I will have to go from computer/laptop shop to shop to find a replacement.

Do such shops keep replacement batteries and are they good/okay as compared to originals, anything that I need to consider here?
Just do provide some inputs. Thx.

yes checked at 1 - 2 shops today and they are also quoting around 2.5 to 3k for non original but matching battery.

That's too much. You'll get decent batteries within 2k with 1 year warranty. There are many third party manufacturers.

most of the batteries I find online seem to be rated 11.1v whereas what I have in my laptop is rated for 10.8v.
Does anyone have any idea about these voltage ratings and would 11.v be compatible against the original 10.8v.

I don't want to rush by placing order and local shops are saying first give some advance and only then they shall order!!

service center quote is 9K INR, 15 days to order and no warranty!!!

There are some original batteries around 3k with 1 year warranty on the ebay link I posted. You should check those. Service centre guys get parts at a cheap rate from the OEMs and sell it at a low discount on MRP. 9k for battery is way too much.

SaiyanGoku..yes however almost all of them are 11.1v batteries. What I have is 10.8 that's where I was wondering if there would be any compatibility issues.
