Need a thin and light laptop for ~30k

Hi guys, my dad needs a new laptop for home+work. Hope you can help me out.

1) What is your budget?
~ 30k


2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?
14-16", preferably thin and under 1.8 kgs


3) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?
Primarily: web browsing, video playback, microsoft office. Some amount of very basic image and video editing with Photoshop and windows movie maker.


5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?
Would like a 4th gen i3. Atleast 4GB ram and 500GB HDD. Would like it if the screen res was 1440x900 or more but understand this may not be possible within the budget.


4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?

This. Also, my dad wouldn't care for a touch screen. I'd rather that money go towards the screen, storage, processor or ram.

Its worthy, depends on taste. And thats atom baytrail quad core. I tested mine and found better than inspiron 15 's i3.
