I need a screen recorder to make some tutorials and put on my website.kinda pro one that does only the recording coz editing can be done in other softwares i have.freeware wud b great but doesnt matter if i gotta pay for it.

you can use z soft screen recorder with this you can save file in avi format and also you can record your voice with video try it its best i used

i actually got cam studio but in full screen it gives poor fps (8-10).maybe the settings aint correct.

Go to the video settings. Make sure the capture frame rate is set to Auto. If it already is then you can increase it manually. I have a dual core processor and 1 GB RAM. I think system configuration too affects performance.
