Need a new Laptop

My friend is thinking of buying a laptop in the range 55-65k,He is thinking of the Dell inspiron 1720.He asked me whether its a good one and if not,which to go for.Since i don't know anything about laptops,i request u guys to help me out.Thanks in advance.

get a dell xps 1530...its the best in this budget
also wait a week or so if u plan to buy xps 1530 , penryn processors should b available soon.
