Need a keyboard for under 1k

Looking for a durable keyboard under 1k, I'm currently using a Microsoft RT2300 since 2009 which came in a combo M+KB box, it's life has come to an end.

How's the Logitech Mk200? It comes with a mouse too! Mouse is not required right now but may need in the future. I'd like to have Multimedia keys, will overlook this if the keyboard is really good.

Logitech MK200

It is probably the best selling wired combo in this price range plus logitech gives 3 years warranty(make sure to register your product on logitech India site).

Does it have anti-ghosting feature? I can't seem to find any other branded keyboard with multimedia keys under my budget of Rs 1000

This "anti-ghosting feature" is supposed to be for higher end gaming oriented keyboards but even then I think MK200 should suffice for a typical gamer.

I'm a regular gamer & my current KB doesn't have anti-ghosting. I never felt its need. For most people, normal KBs are enough & your budget isn't high enough for that feature.

MK200 is a great choice for most people.

Thanks, I've placed an order for Mk200 online, My current Microsoft keyboard has a limited anti-ghosting I believe but it works great for often used shortcuts.

I've been using this keyboard for around 2 days now, i don't like the typing experience on it. Sometimes it skips letters if you type fast and I type at a moderate pace of around 80wpm.

My previous Microsoft RT2300 was much better in this regard, the keystroke were long but precise. This keyboard feels too plasticky to me, could be because of the lightweight construction. Microsoft RT2300 also had much better anti-ghosting algorithm.

Try installing logitech software & tinkering with settings provided there.

Thanks for replying,

What software am i looking at here? I've found this one called Logitech gaming software. I guess it's for high-end Logitech products, my keyboard isn't listed in the supported list.

I would appreciate if you link me to application and give some hint on which settings needed to be altered to improve the typing experience.

My mistake, software is available for wifi models but not this model. May be check in windows control panel keyboard settings(this is what it looks like in win 7/8.1).
