Already have good broadband at home, so mostly will use WiFi for internet, when outside rarely watch videos. Also 64 GB is enough for me. Do I need a 5g phone? (If not needed can look at cheaper options as already have other expenses
Yes, you need a 5G phone. Soon the internet bandwidth of 4G will be artifically limited, maybe already is, so you will need 5G for best internet connectivity when not in WiFi range. India has cheap broadband but public WiFis are still very bad, unless in a 3 star hotel or something. Even in relatively premium hotels I have seen bandwidth issues & poor infrastructure (like using cheap home grade routers which can't handle too many connections).
64GB is not enough for most, easy to get filled. Similarly 4GB RAM is not sufficient as well. Anyways, your call. For me, 5G, 6GB RAM & 128GB storage are like bare minimum for a decent smartphone & the phone I recommended is just 10.5k, lower with card offers. With inflation, 15k is the new 10k from few years back.
