If you are willing to compromise on size then this is the best option with integrated graphics,8th gen i5 is much faster than 7th gen i5 as it is a quad core:

You can also get this(FHD screen same as above HP with a 7th gen i3 but comes with 2 years warranty):

If you can not compromise on size then this is another option:

Whichever model you select,if you want fast system performance then getting a ssd is recommended(250gb samsung 860 evo is available for ~6.2k).An old laptop with ssd will blow away a latest laptop with hdd in terms of overall system performance.

Compromise on size and get the one with i5 8250U.

@whitestar_999 Thanks a lot for these options. Looks like the ASUS one would be a better deal considering the FULL HD feature of the screen.
@SaiyanGoku @whitestar_999 How about the Dell Latitude 3480 if i stick to the 14 inch screen size ?

The windows version of the above laptop.

Old and not worth the price.
There is another option from dell. As i am into gaming so i dont really need a dedicated graphics memory for the laptop. Dell inspiron 3467 looks a good deal

Dell Inspiron 14 3000 Core i3 6th Gen - (4 GB/1 TB HDD/Windows 10 Home) 3467 Laptop

Please give ur inputs..

Why are you compromising on the CPU that too for a 6th gen i3?

Since you are not into gaming, don't compromise on processor.Getting below 7th gen is not recommended now-a-days.HP one has FHD screen too plus it has 8th gen i5 which is much faster than 7th gen i3 in asus one.For browsing & multimedia 7th gen i3 is more than enough but if you want to have the flexibility to use more cpu intensive tasks in future(automation tools though no idea how much processor intensive these are) then getting a 8th gen i5 is better. If you are sure that you will never be using even 50% of a 8th gen i5 then get asus one & upgrade its hdd to ssd.

The HP one with i5 would be a bit out of my budget but will see if I can go for it just in case i need a powerful processor for using automating tools like selenium and TOSCA.

Why are you compromising on the CPU that too for a 6th gen i3?
In that case i would see if i could go for the Dell Vostro 3468 as suggested if i cannot compromise the size and if the 7th gen i3 fits my requirements.

Thanks a lot @SaiyanGoku & @whitestar_999 for your suggestions and advice.
