Need a budget gaming laptop ~70K

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?
Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen


3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?
Mainly running games like Watchdogs Legion, RDR2, HZD at high or medium settings not ultra. Also will work with Network Simulators like GNS3 which need powerful hardware.
Also playing movies, streaming on Netflix, etc. and browsing on multiple tabs.


5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eyeing for ? Any configuration which meets above requirements.


4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
a. Like: HP
b. Dislike: NA


6) Anything else you would like to say?
Screen resolution (1080p (Full HD) )
Battery back up ( normal (3-4hrs) / extended (5-7hrs) )
Purchase place ( Online / Local ) Will like to buy from local in Nehru Place or if discounts are high enough then Online.

IMO a gaming laptop with R5 5600H + 3050. Avoid Intel CPUs as you will get much lower battery life, like 5hrs on AMD vs 3hrs on Intel on light usage.

Models to keep an eye out for are HP Victus, Acer Nitro 5 & Dell G15, avoid Lenovo Ideapad Gaming, HP Pavilion gaming & MSI ones.
Asus - depends on specs & price

I looked at different models. Acer Nitro 5 are mostly with Intel processor. If I go for Ryzen then its going out of my budget.
Also how is Asus TUF gaming? Is it good? Also HP and Dell have good after sale support, what about others?

Dell, HP & Lenovo have a similar level of after sales, followed by Asus & Acer. Avoid other brands, even MSI.

R5 5600H + 3050 Dell G15 was 67.5k + card discounts during the sale last weekend, my friend bought that (he got it for 68.6k with extra 8GB RAM + 5% CB from amazon CC will be coming next month, so effectively about 65k). Also, G15 with i5 + 3050Ti was 72k. So those were definitely in your budget of 75k.

Thanks for the info. If I am buying from Flipkart will I be able to get the extended warranty from HP? Sounds like a stupid question but wanted to make sure.

TPS Tech is selling 2 year extended HP warranty for like 5k in amazon, for other avenues, contact HP directly on price. Dell has 2k for 2 year extended warranty offer, but that is coming to an end this month.

Full price for both might be different.

This one came with RTX3050Ti and had a price difference of 1k with the 3050 one. So I went with this one. Got it it for 68k.
