I have a BSNL Broadband Connection.Today,my internet connection seemed pretty slow & checked the Network setting using my security software(Eset Smart Security).Suddenly I noticed that Network connection is being downloading some random data around 16 MB from Ip address known to be associated with VSNL.

I also found out that the process under which the network connection happened is a Windows process (ie,svchost.exe).

I am including the the screenshot of the issue here

Should I be Concerned?:-?

many application & windows services(like updates etc) also use svchost.exe to download.to be sure scan your system with malwarebytes antimalware free edition & some online virus scanner like trendmicro housecall.

Better be safe, than sorry

Scan it, I had to format mine due to the same issue, though for me svchost was using more than 60% of CPU usage and network bandwidth
