Noobie Pro
After much trouble and help from you all, my machine is finally up and running!! And i must say, compared to my previous laptop, the performance and speed on this one is a dream
I made a jump from Celeron M 1.4 MHz on an Intel 915 chipset with 780 DDR1 167Mhz RAM, 40 GB IDE HD to this new power machine.
Here are the specs -
AMD X2 5600+
ASUS M2N-VM HDMI
Transcend 2GB 800 MHz RAM
Hitachi 160 GB Sata II(3 GBps)
LG 20x DVD Writer
VIP 820 Cabinet with 3 extra fans
Microsoft Comfort Curve 2000 Keyboard
My WinSAT score is -
Processor - 5.3
Memory (RAM) - 5.7
Graphics - 3.5
Gaming Graphics - 3.0
Hard Disk - 5.6
Posting the WinSAT score so that it may be of help to potential new buyers.
When i was out to buy my keyboard yesterday, i saw a better cabinet from my own. A circle cabinet, i think 742, it had 4 USB ports in the front. Looks better too, but by that time my machine had already been assembled at my dealer's place.
Anyways, thanks everyout out there who helped me.
