My friend's Laptop Stolen

Confused whether to start this thread in Qna or Chit Chat.

Anyway My friend's brand new LENOVO laptop has been stolen from his room. Is there any way to trace the laptop. May be if it come online some day or same other way. He has the serial no with him. Is there any possible thing that can be done ?????????

Try to contact hp costomer care giving serial no if the person comes for hp service center it can be

traced also Immediatelly file an FIR .

Why don't u register a complaint and give the lappy details? And if the laptop is stolen in some hostel which has some network, then I guess u can urself do the needed!
