My CORSAIR CX500 PSU fried

Hi All,
My CORSAIR CX500 PSU is fried. I am not sure whether it would have affect my rig. Is it wise to buy a new PSU considering no impact to my other parts.

FYI: I am not a hardcore gamer. Been using this for say like more than 4+ years.

My Rig:
i5 3220
1 TB HDD
256 GB SSD

Not sure why. Seems like sudden burst while I was using the PC.

hmm under warrantee? If not get new.

Surely it would be out of warranty. My only concern is whether any damage would be done to other parts like Mobo, HDD, SDD etc.,.
What's the stake here always, if PSU fries. Just want an advice.

My CX400 still running strong 11 years. i5 760 + 750ti.
