Moto G versus Moto X

Hi All,

I am looking forward to buy a phone under 25K and seems Moto G or Moto X is good option in this segment based on the hardware and OS.

But I am slightly confuse between Moto X and Moto G which one to choose as there is a difference of 10K between these phones.
Also the difference I see as below
  1. Ram: Moto G 1GB where as Moto X 2GB
  2. Display: Moto G 4.5 720P where as Moto X 4.7 1080P
  3. Processor: Moto G 1.2GHz where as Moto X 1.7 GHz
  4. Applications: Moto X Active display etc

So any suggestion which one to go.

Got mine on 7th April
Pros
Display
Unique features like touchless control active notifications
Build and design feels really good to hold
Smooth in day to day use and runs all high end games really nice(tested asphalt 8 at high and GTA SA it superb)
Cons
Standby battery not that good (screen time is still fine)
Gets slightly warm when used and a little more warmer when playing graphic intensive games(wasn't an issue for me) but nothing to worry about
Non expandable storageu get around 11gb available enough for me
Neutral
Camera isn't a stellar but not bad either just decent enough :)
Overall
Highly recommended :)

The speaker of MotoX is loud and clear. And the touch less control is class apart.
Go for MotoX

I'd say go for Moto G.

Superb both via headphones and without also
Plus the speaker outside is so loud that had to reduce call volume to around 40% cause it's that loud!!
Also vibration and haptic feedback is strong
[MENTION=52329]tkin[/MENTION] I used to think same but lemme tell u once u hold it and use it you will understand the diff and the premium u pay will instantly be felt redeemed ;)

Moto X has more features and Moto G is better VFM!(Value for money) Both will serve your purpose!

from where u guys are downloading apps/games..? , i just downloaded few from google play store.

and all these games u listed are freely available..?

See most free apps I have are from play store rest paid ones via utorrent as for a good music player I guess poweramp is good

The preinstalled screen guard and I use wow pouch to carry moto x outside no case/cover for it I handle it with care and it's aesthetics require the touch of my bare hands which covers destroy :)

Guys any idea how to make Moto G to act as dual call mode as when a call on sim is active other become not reachable. Even if the configuration is dual active.

about games , which latest fifa can be installed on MotoX , or any COD or Medal of honour games

FIFA 14 available for play store and lol u don't have cod and moh for play store or App Store but if u want a good fps game try modern combat 4 otherwise a must try game is GTA SA loving it though batt consuming but yea
