Hi guys, please recommend a motherboard for this processor, compatible with firepro w4100 card as well.
Currently using asus m5a97evo r2. It is giving a lot of problems, so it needs repairs.
I wanted Asus m5a 99fx pro r2. Its not available anywhere in Nehru place
Available - Gigabyte 970 gaming - (₹ 7k).
990fxa ud5 r5 - ₹15k. With taxes it will cost 17k.
990 fx gaming - (₹ 12k).
970a ds3p. -₹ 7k
Most shops don't have a 990fx board. The gigabyte boards too are only available at cost to cost. One or 2 shops have Gigabyte 970 gaming.
What are your suggestions? I'm Really confused.
1. Not sure if 970 boards are "just adequate" or they are "built for" this. I did not have an exactly "touble free performance with my asus 97. Got it repaired under warranty once. The technician too recommend Asus 990fx board.
2. Any known issues with the above mentioned Gigabyte boards.
