Hai,

I have a Dell ST22220L 22" LED monitor which while using HDMI cable is displaying only 1600x900 resolution at 60Hz but when I am using DVI cable its showing full HD resolution of 1920x1020 also at 60Hz. Will it can be increased to 75Hz for optimum view ability or less strain on the the eyes. Is there any significant improvement in Gaming related activities while using HDMI.

Thanks&Regards,
bavusani

I usually uninstall all my video drivers completely and cleanly before I install a new set of drivers buddy. What should I do?

Try with an older driver if you are on the latest CCC for your ATI adapter. It times a singular version causes a system mess up, and "never" works. You either roll back (install a prior version); or wait for a new release. If this fails, try another cable. At times, faulty connectors can do this.

Faulty connectors might be the problemo LOL....

That has been noted. If the HDMI connectors are not integral due to a mechanical error one does not get full HD. The only option is to switch/try another cable. That is what I have observed reading threads on tech-boards. :)
