i know how to tweak a modem in win 9x from 115200 to 924000
but is not posible in winxp

is there any another way?????

i get that option under control panel>phone and modem options>modems>properties>modem and under speed...but it isnt gonna help much...it is just the port speed...doesnt affect the speed at which u connect 2 ur dial up....

Take a look at the topic again man. See a black bold arrow? Thats an indiactor that the post was in the wrong section and has now been moved to appropiate section by the Admin or the mods. GNU was just leaving a reminder.

Tweaking Modems dsn;t work much. I dont think u wud ever realise that u actually tweaked it. Whether u do it thro the OS or ne other software. It is futile. Dialup sux. Wen there is broadband @ such cheap rates.........bsnl!
